Meet Dr. Nyle Blanck

I believe in providing quality, compassionate, patient-centered care by treating my patients as I would my own family. My philosophy is to provide the best evidence-based treatment, while building lasting relationships with my patients by working with them to create beautiful, functional smiles. The best part of any appointment for me is the conversation, whether it be about treatment goals or an in-depth discussion about exciting weekend plans.

I was born, raised, and educated in Connecticut, graduating from Amity Regional High School in 2009 and earning my B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut, Storrs in 2013. I completed dental school at the UConn School of Dental Medicine in 2017, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon dental honors society. I continued my orthodontic training at UConn, where I earned my Master’s degree in dental science and orthodontic certificate in June 2020.

I currently reside in Milford with my wife Lauren and our three kitties Gracie, Olive, and Alfalfa. I am an active member of the Connecticut Wheelmen and spend much of my free time riding, working on, and collecting antique bicycles. My favorite hobbies are restoring antique cars with my dad and fishing on Long Island Sound with my extended family.

I have wanted to be an orthodontist, specifically with Dr. Perry and Dr. Gary, ever since they straightened my teeth many years ago. I am very happy to have fulfilled this dream and look forward to a successful career with the Opin Wide family.
